Phil Lloyd 10,739
Brilliant set of images there Nobby.... They brought back loads of memories ,.... I purchased a nice 'hard blood' pup off Joe Mather of The Blue Peter race track in Stockport,..what a character he was,.eh... I also had pups of Big Ben x Spot Pride,... They seemed to be strange looking whippets to us Southerners,.We were used to the KC registered 'Coursing lines,..but we soon learnt the score and bought in 'Rch Flyby' and Baby Jane (Bilko bred)...And then,.we were ready to rumble... I have always gone for that look in a small lurcher, and my young bitch, SKY has taken after them old style 'bully' type racers.... Thanks for taking the trouble to put those rare and interesting photos up... All the best,.CHALKWARREN... Quote Link to post
