I think they have a very strong pair bond so I think you'll struggle but also there are lads desperate for bully hens so you could move them on easily enough or have a try at your own hybrids?

Yh I’ll do some hybrids if not but was just seeing If anyone done it before

They'll kill each other any time of the year they bunch up but soon as the season starts they become territorial not like goldfinches in the wild they'll nest near one another. My conifers and most my neighbours at the back have goldfinches all the way up. The pair near me have started on the second brood already. Started mid march and done well in these conifers.. A was scared for the first young due to neighbour pit bull that's always in garden an it knows there's something there in the conifers sits watching the b*****d.
