Immigration figures for the period 2011 - 2021

Recommended Posts

Just been watching a report on figures released from the Office of National Statistics.

In the period 2011- 2021 immigration rose by 2.5 million taking the estimated total to 10 million or nearly 1 in 6 of the population.

Houses are built at a rate of 160 thousand a year, so a shortfall of 900 thousand homes over that 10 year period.

Over 50% of those that come here end up in social housing and claiming benefits.

I am no expert but even i can see why house prices are so high and housing is in such short supply, And why the NHS is struggling along with GP`s and Dental services. also Why our countryside is being built over at an alarming rate,

None of this includes illegal immigration 40 thousand crossed the channel last year and they estimate a further 60 thousand this year.

I think its about time someone in government became accountable for this and more to the point, put a plan in place to sort this mess out.

You can not undo it but you can stop it getting any worse but that would required bollocks that non of the current political parties posses. it appears to me that the Civil servants in the treasury are at odd with those in immigration, One thinks that it will add value the other think it will take value.
