Wolfdog91 7,858
Was fia lly able to get one of these ordered in two months back. Little S&W 15-22. Basically identical in fit and function to a regular AR-15. But more modular and easy to fit then other guns so this should be a nice little deal for when people wanna come learn to shoot with me Welp time to get hop put the bipod on and do some testing Quote Link to post

Mine was $400 after tax. Honestly it's pretty similar in recoil impulse to most .223/5.56's I've shot . Super fun ! Quote Link to post
Wolfdog91 7,858
This is how his FUN gotta wait till the smaller 10rd mag comes in for a good accuracy test though because I can't eat it on anything with this big 25rd Quote Link to post
Wolfdog91 7,858
So switched the trigger springs out ( had some reduced ones from an old AR project, they interchange with no problem) dropped it down to a nice 3lbs pull. Adjust the scope a lot better . Finally found a Allen key long enough to get the for grip off added a sling stud mount and a nice knock off Harris. A three point sling ( more tactical then what I needed really but I had a few of them pack away front he army so ) and yeah this is a nice little rig. Just gotta wait for the 10rd mag to come in because I can't really shoot any way past standing with the 25rd. Just too long. Fyi I did clean my bench.... It was clean I swear Quote Link to post

.357shooter 1,382
lokks the same as the s&w but in the uk costs £1000 for a basic gun with no goodies. Quote Link to post
KimE 487
Is what a semi .223 for ipsc? Quote Link to post
KimE 487
I was thinking about the .357 leveraction you has in Sweden a model 92 in 44-40 would work for black powder competition. You can also use a blackpowder cartridge revolver what i think is legal in UK (a Swedish model 1887 8mm costs £ 200-250) I have a replica of a 1858 Enfield costed £ 400. A 1867 rolling block costs £200-400. You shoot 13 rounds either standing at 25m,50m pistol standing at 50m with rifle or laying prone at 100m with rifle. For me a competition costs about £50 in fees and £20 in ammunition. With the practice you have done it would be easy to compete in this sort of shooting. Quote Link to post
