I remember many moons ago, my toddler kids, two dogs, a cat and a ferret used to play  a form of tig together. How did they each know it was  play? They all knew the rules too. Definitely  some cross species telepathy/ understanding going on.

Had a bloody great slug pass by my chair, the other day, Steve. Dog said something really weird sounding. After a moment ~ maybe I'd glanced round at him? He said it again. But, at a completely different pitch.

Then, when one of the others barged the bottom of the chair, I'd had enough. Wondered what the fukk was going on with them! Looked down and saw this three inch long slug, making its way beneath my chair!

Funny, how none of them would have anything to do with it. Yet they saw fit to tell me about it, as a matter of some urgency.

Dogs have more sense than some Australians. Bullfrog's brain dead anyway. Eats slugs as his staple diet.

My boy goes about the back with a ferret like  a real life lilo and stitch . The ferret runs to him when it sees him ??
