.222 Ammunition

As i have said before i hope to have a .222 if my fac comes through OK.

can anyone recommend good ammo for fox in a CZ 527.

i know .222 is not near as popular as .223 but is there a good selection of ammo out there?

.222 ammo isn't a problem, lots of choice.

 

Probably a bit more choice with .223 but where .223 really scores is that there is a lot of very innexpensive military derivatives about. Nobody would suggest these are as good, or group as well as normal factory ammo but for chucking down a range in quantity they are great...at prices from about £14 per 100 for real .223 (not 5.56) stuff you can still afford a pint or two after the shoot!

......................................... my mate has a cz 527..it works very well with 40 gr v max...we reload our selves now i lobbed 6 inches off the barrel so we use a fast burning powder...its sound and devistates foxes...

i use nothing but a reloaded speer 50grain hollow point,turns foxes inside out and very accurate had bad experiences with v max so never use them anymore...
