this is what it says on the site. a pic is attachted too. im after a cheap one. im inly young and cant afford a light force or clulite.

Powerful cordless rechargeable spotlight features super bright Halogen bulb that produces 1,000,000 CP. Features a rubberized pistol grip, trigger switch with locking "ON" button, and a removable 6 volt rechargeable battery. System charges the battery internally or independently of the Q Beam from either 12 volt DC lighter plug or 110 volt AC charger which are both included

thanks in advance

Being honest bud they're shit plain and simple ! We started off with something like that but in the end we were bringing out 3 or 4 lamps with us just to get a few decent runs , try to get something second hand if you can coz there's nothing worse than watching a dog chasing quarry only to have the lamp die on you before he catches it :wallbash:

iff you can get hold a cibie spotlight shell from a scrap yard use the shell with a rubber hose for a handle wire it up ya self then put some perspex on front then use a micro switch these re what we used in yorkshire for many years and cost very little to make but were excellent lamps wish i still had one in fact a think am guna try and make one and compare it with lamps of today the cibie shell enables you to get a high wattage bulb from most car spare shops

In general the beam of these ones are too wide for the bigger fields (OK for small ones) + they don't last very long (20mins). If you want to do the cheap option (i've done this) get a set of high WhA 6V batteries set (2x), solder it so they are parallel wired (2 batts on the hip+carrier) and rip the internal one out, so you can lamp to your harts content (in small fields!!!)

But really if you're serious the real-deal ls a lightforce 170 or clulite & worth the money!

Cheers

I am with Eggy,

Hook more Ah/h to the lamp and get the internal battery out, that makes it more comfortable to use anyway. If you don't want to spend/don't have the money for the professional kits a cheap lamp is better than no lamp.
