Axholme Ferreter 0
I have been tinkering with ferret boxes for a while now and have gone from very simple to fairly complicated. I have settled for something mid range at the moment. This was my first box given to me by a mate. This was my first attempt but it was a bit big and heavy. This was the next which is fine but is just one big compartment This was the next effort a twin compartment job. This was the latest when I tried putting some drawers in for kit but it was just too bulky to cart around. I just use the dark brown ones now (have flogged the others) but I may have a go at a new very slightly bigger one this summer. All the best AF Quote Link to post
Guest little_lloyd
This is my box,, I made it a year ago now,, Its like carrying a bag full of bricks when three ferrets are inside it,, So when im out mooching for the pup for a few rabbits,, my ferrets travel in my coat pockets. And a standard back packs for nets and fold up spades etd,, you just look like a regular dog walker Quote Link to post

Nice looking box, but what happens if its raining? just before they go into the box i put them little waterproof berghaus jackets on along with little wellys and give them a brolly each. what do you think!!! they get wet!! if it is that bad my net bag or my game bag generally works ok.
