Ken's Deputy 4,463
I don't feel moved to sign: " Major software companies such as Apple and Microsoft have a lack of important LGBTQ+ symbols. They both have a gay rainbow pride flag and Apple has an additional transgender flag but these are the only two flags that are in use while there are at least twenty more flags. This is unfair on the rest of the LGBTQ+ community as their identity has not been represented. Not only is there a lack of pride flag emojis but there are also spelling errors under many valid sexualities such as ceterosexual (attracted to non-binary genders only). Moreover, there are many miscellaneous items such as; five different postboxes: three types of CDs: nine book emojis and many more. However, they have recently included same sex couple kissing emojis. The lack of most of the LGBTQ+ flag emojis also means that many people are unable to educate themselves about other sexualities and genders. Educating yourself is the first step to making a change. We want to ensure that the LGTBQ+ community is represented in the media and can use emojis and words to express their sexualities and genders without feeling that since their flag or word doesn’t exist on Apple, they are invalid. When you sign this petition you will be taking a step to make sure that everyone feels accepted. "
Bobtheferret 1,278
I despair at what society is becoming I really. Some posh uni kids voted to take the queen’s portrait out of the library due to the links between the monarchy and colonialism. Where does it bloody stop?
