18:50 and it's kicked off at the gate. I look out to see the small, brown dog peering left. There's two rooks filling their faces on the track. She's ignoring them and they her. Suspicion!

I go out there for a look. Sure as hell! There's bloody Fox fox, peeking out from the fence line! I call a greeting and ponder what to do next.

Come in here, to defrost her chicks. All hell lets loose at the gate! ALL the dogs are going collectively ape shit. I go back out.

Sure enough; Fox fox has now slithered down the fence line to her customary bush whacking post, beside the shed. Where she can better monitor my movements.

Got to fukking laugh! I spend all day, grating cheese and tripping round the place like a parish priest, doling out the alms. Now? Fukking fox has got my number so pinned down, she's like an alchy, waiting outside for that pub door to open!
