Xmas day my male Harris took out my neighbours female harris midflight, luckily no injuries.  Last night whilst lamping he narrowly missed a rabbit then flew halfway across the field and took her off the fist. Am I just going to have to resign myself to him flying solo?

My female won’t fly in cast , she’d happily take another bird of fist and try to eat it ,

Thanks. Can't say I'm upset as I prefer to be on my own anyway.

I'm the same, hawks are like dogs in the fact that if you double them up they become lazy and let the other/others do all the work then just pitch in at the end. You will see much better flights from your hawk flown on its own!
