EDDIE B 3,170
Gotta love those trail cam videos. Need to get my own out, although I have a different type of feed station 1 Quote Link to post

Not so much when the rotten fukking thing slips, for the Second night in a row! It's physics, obviously. Lack of continuing tension on the webbing strap + weight x the smooth curve of the top of that poxy gas bottle. All the same. See the top of that fence post? Bowl of grub was set at the Foot of it. And I had the camera perfectly centred. Till I turned my fukking back! Quote Link to post
EDDIE B 3,170
I'm a disaster with them. Had one set for over a week one time, and forgot to to format the sd card. Another camera was drowned when a river rose three or four feet over night 1 Quote Link to post
Ken's Deputy 4,463
Must admit, mate; I'm constantly standing up to stare out at this one, now strapped to the gate? I simply Cannot convince myself that all is well. No sign of the fox yet, either. But, I Did wonder where the bowl I'd deliberately punctured, for drainage had got to. Searched this place top to bottom. Stared at shelves, trying to untrick my mind and see the damn thing. Finally sucked it up and went outside. Stared hard at the grass. Hoping to see that glint. Was just agreeing a light, at night may be better. Then, I spotted the fukking thing: Sixty yards away at the edge of the ditch!!! What The ....?!? No Way I'm venturing down there for it, in my Crocs! It's a bloody quagmire down there. It can bloody well stay there - or not - till Summer. Wonder who took it though? Fox or badger? Fukking camera had worked, we might have known! Quote Link to post
Ken's Deputy 4,463
Pay Dirt!!! 02:10 'tonight', figuring what had happened had happened, I flashed the bowl, saw it had moved. Decided to bring the camera in. Spirits low. I've been mulling over how I'd been getting crap results. Because I'd been being sloppy! I'd shown " How A Professional " films a cat, on a thread elsewhere here. Now, I was filming shit. Because ..... Well, I'd paid a bit more attention, tonight. Tomorrow night, if the batteries can last out, I'll try to vastly improve on Tonights results, by moving the cameras position, relative to the target. But, yeah. Happy! Enthused FFS! I think I'll start using a tape measure and recording more specific shit now. We can maybe build up a hands on, experience and empirically based catalogue of how to use various cam's? Anyone ...? Off loading the AVI clips takes ages. I've only glanced at each one, yet. Great stuff to learn from them. Plenty of exact spacers for distances. And, fukk all that. I've confirmed a strong suspicion. Pay Back. 1 Quote Link to post
