Ken's Deputy 4,463
I don't know what to say. I hatched (Hatched! Geddit?) this loony plan. I'd leave day old chicks out, like people do bird food. To see what happens. I'm like that. Get over it. Fukk Me!!! Put one out, yesterday afternoon. Watched loads of young rooks ignore it, for grain. Day break today? Predictably gone. Rats or a fox? (09:20) Replaced. 10:40. Two magpies seen. DOC gone. 10:55. DOC replaced x2. 11:35. DOC Gone! Replaced x 1. Because I'd simply envisaged this insane level of fukking take up!!! Reconsidered, at this point. Dragged a small load out of the freezer. Put them in the fridge, for later. 12:00. DOC Gone!!! What The Fukking FUKK Is Going On Here?!?! Wow! What do I do now? Micro defrost a dozen more? Pile their fukking corpses out on the drive? Then what? Stand there and stare at Them? This is fukking Mental! I Never saw This coming! I'm blown away! That'll do, for now. I need to sleep ~ which I haven't really done yet, since yesterday. Then, I really need to start searching for some sort of computer linked, external web cam shit. I simply Can't be peering out the window, 24/7. Trail Cam won't cut it either. Too much small bird activity out there. Be more triggered than an SJW in a mans changing room. This shit requires Thought!

Greyman 33,552
Stick ur chicks in a Larson trap and see what happens, my friends giant tortoise was getting attacked between 5am and 9am when she was at work, stuck a Larson out there and nailed 7 magpies but how the feck do magpies recognise a giant tortoise as food, ??? Ken's Deputy 4,463
GM; I'd suggest that tortoise apply to change her shift patterns. And contact HR Naah. I'm less concerned with trapping anything than I am just learning about their behaviours. This is all about setting a sprat to catch a mackerel.

For god knows how many pages, and insults etc, on the big cat thread, there's been accounts, arguments, 'sightings' etc etc of 'something' NON NATIVE wandering around the british countryside, killing livestock etc, but there's still no real hard evidence, so many people claim. Just thought I'd play along with my jocular post. And I thought you'd get it. But you didn't lol. No big deal. And I know exactly what country and region every species of big, and medium sized cat come from
Squirrel_Basher 17,103
I thought you were a believer mate or am I dreaming .I got the reference to the cat thread ,I was being pedantic by stating they weren’t native

Half the people on this site have seen little more than rabbits, hares, fox and/or some species of deer, and those animals are everywhere. Yet those same people are out in the counryside all the time.
