HELP!! Sound on computer

This is really pissing me off now

 

The sound on my computer is really low and I can only just hear my music. The volume in the bottom right corner is fully up and so is the media player volume.

 

Any ideas as it is really getting on my nerves

try going in the control panel/sounds and devices/device volume.......make sure thats turnt right up

on the volume icon bottom left of screen click open volume control, then click the properties tab, tick the wave, sw syth and 3d depth, click ok, make sure all of them are on full, using some programs turns these down, usually on power dvd on my comp,

I dont have a volume icon bottom left of screen, there is one bottom right but there is no option for properties

there should be if you open volume control

tried setting them as default? mine does this every so often and just clicking default usually boots whatevers playing right up.

How do I do that maty j?

try double clicking the little sound icon on the bottom right of the screen or go to the controll panel and do it from there.
