.357shooter 1,382
nothing wrong with a .25.very easy to load with them big slugs.downside is pellet choice.go for a lightest pellet to flaten the mortar like trajectory out a bit.had a bsa supersport that rattled my teeth an gave me a headache but it was fun to shoot.those pellets hit hard and the spinners really do take bashing.with practice you can shoot them accurately out to 50m but by practice i mean 6-8 hours a week for 6 months.could hit bottle tops with mine freehand at 50m as regular as i could with my s400 i had at the time.just to clarify this did take a serious commitment to the the gun and only using this one gun for 6 months non stop.so to sum up if you want one go for it and do not let anyone else put you off or say they are crap. 2 1 Quote Link to post

Dervburner 2,549
I had a .25 bsa supersport in the nineties. I used it for ferals and rabbits. It was very effective at the shortish ranges involved. I bought another .25 springer a few years ago. It’s a hatsan striker. It’s not as pellet fussy as the bsa was, but it prefers marksman. The trigger leaves something to be desired for sure, but it’s not bad with practice. Doesn’t half kick tin cans like no other sub 12 calibre. If you get one, enjoy it fella, something a bit different. I like ‘em, that’s why I bought the hatsan, in fact, I’ve thought about upgrading to a .25 Weihrauch myself. 1 Quote Link to post
