Anyone using 8mm steel, how are you finding it?

Think it’s become very popular with target shooters for similar reasons to 177 being more accurate in air rifles, but I wouldn’t be happy hunting with it myself, have seen people using it for hunting on YouTube but they are either super accurate and only ever get head shots or they edit out all the runners, possibly 8mm lead might be worth a go as it should have a simular weight to a 10mm steel I would imagine, if you give it a go let us know how it goes?

I don’t advocate the use of 8mm steel in a hunting situation in my opinion it should only be used for target shooting. As for 8mm lead it is slightly lighter than a 9.5mm steel bearing (49 grains as to 54 grains) for me the jury is still out. For hunting in my opinion.44cal lead or 1/2”steel
