john b 38
More or less LL, yes. However I mae some once and thought it was yak. Be better off making blackberry vodka or gin in my view, but it comes down to your own taste in the end

Here the Sloe Gin thread - http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/index...amp;hl=sloe+gin was that what you wanted ? or bramble whiskey ? Basically the same process anyhow. Sounds like an FAQ .... maty j 6
i made up some blackberry vodka. turned out quite good. i used 250g blackberries to approx 50cl of vodka and 125g of demera sugar. i made it in a 75cl bottle so probably just dropped the berries in, gave them a good shake to burst them then added the sugar and topped it up with vodka before giving it another good shake. kreet 0
then thats it ready to drink maty ? strait or with a mixer ?
maty j 6
obviosly it needs 3 month or so with the berries in for the flavours to mix but tbh i dont think the whole 3 months is needed with the fruit being shaken in the bottle first, it really smashes them up and there much softer than sloes so mix up well insted of the sugar and ginhaving to help draw the juice out of the sloes. once the times over it will still need staraining over muslin as theres still alot of pulp and seeds in there. with regards how to drink it, supose its personal preferance.... all the more reason to make a few bottles and see what you like best
