Few hours out

Took my young bedy grey  and the  busher out for few hours yesterday.

i was going to drop nets but after a couple bolted into nets I decided to lift them and give the jooks a few runs .

this spot ideal for bolting to a youngster as no hedges or barbed wire ,and warrens run down middle of field ,

my young bitch took the first bolter as it Was going threw sheep fencing by back leg and on way back she lost it trying to get better hold but she soon made good her mistake and brought it back to hand .she went on to take 4 and some great catches for a youngster,

my bedy whippet x pat x Russel took 2 bolters ,they didn't even get a few yards .she good ferreting bitch ,she just knows which hole the coney will bolt from and they normally in the bag befor there feet touch the ground ,she only small but she as some speed and very switched on to the ways of coney .

both jooks worked well ,young bitch his coming along fine and every outing is a lesson ,more I put in front of her better she b 

the Jill's  are mam and daughter ,I bred these myself out my old hob who sadly got stolen last yr ,

 no lay ups so no digs and six healthy coneys in the bag .what better way to spend Saturday afternoon .

We had a great day ,no numbers round my way for last few yrs but it looks like they holding out in some spots .

Thanks ,we had a good time and it sure keeps them sharp ,

numbers not about but as long as we keep taken a few it's all experience for her , hoping to go Norfolk next weekend so should get a good couple days ,
