GD, for one thing, relax, mate. If anything terrible was going to happen, it would have long since. Frankly, I suspect this is a crossed wire - and not one inside ye pc.

1. Have ye made absolutely sure the other GD is precisely 'you'? What I'm driving at is: GameDogsUK. Game_DogsUK. Game-DogsUK. Game_Dogs_UK. Ad infenitum. See what I mean? May perfectly well be completely innocent. Maybe someone else has joined here who has always used one of those Handles, or who simply fancied it and hasn't even spotted yours.

2. Passed on a pc? Then change Every Password to Any and Everywhere on the new one. Just add a letter or number or two.

3. Go to Google and ask it for Check Point Zone Alarm. Click to the Check Point home site and down load the FREE version of Zone Alarm. It's a Fire Wall and will keep ye safe from silly people. Ye may find it all a bit flustering at first, Boxes popping up in the bottom right and scaring ye to death. Just take ye time to study and consider each one for the first day. Ye'll soon work out what they mean and what to do. Take ye time with it is the key phrase there.

4. Enjoy yeself on line ;)

invision admin/mod cp will show what i.p's are being used by your account name, im sure they can help you out somehow, it will show the one you registered at (your sister in laws) then they'll be your own current i.p, if you havent logged in anywhere else that should be it, they can also search a third i.p if there is one and check it against the member list

yes of course, they could be tapped into an unencrypted wireless network and could be recording your keystrokes, best thing to do as d.s said get yourself zone alarm,

follow this link

http://onecare.live.com/standard/en-gb/default.htm

its really straightforward and will tell you of any virus, vulnerabilities or anything that you dont want on your comp

then get a good anti virus, anti spyware and rootkit scanner from avg (all free) and deep scan your comp with your internet connection turned off at the router or cable box

http://free.grisoft.com/doc/5390/us/frt/0

set a password for when you switch your comp on in user accounts

when all thats done just change all your passwords for email/forums ect

stay away from dodgy porn sites and you should be safe
