I know some use h4895 and its availability is being phased out. I use to use it and still would if I needed.

I was in a gun shop in Leek, Staffordshire and he has several pounds of it and he thought he can post it via a certain haulier.

Just thought I would let you know.

He also had some of the other great choices and maybe worth a call.

I use 4895 in my 223 and keep meaning to give a call to a dealer down south here that carried it , but at some stage we will have to find an alternative to use and I wonder if I should bow to the inevitable and jump from 4895 to another sort of powder. Now.

I use h322 in my .204s and when the poxy EU stuck it's unwanted trunk in, i bought .......15 lbs of it.?

15 lbs !!  Now that's what you call commitment to a product.  I do have one pot of 322 left but never seemed to get good groups or velocity out of it.I  found a good loading for my 223 using 4895 and a 55grn Sierra gambling bthp. The combination of gun, powder and bullet is very accurate with excellent terminal result out to 300 yards. Although most shots are around eighty paces. The closest being the other side of an Apple tree.

How do you store that much powder?  We had an instruction sheet sent to the club about storage of powders in a wooden box which was compartme for individual containers.
