Psweeny 0
Hi everyone, I have a 7 month old miniature dachshund and he loves getting in rabbit holes and the undergrowth. He's never been taught this and I have no experience hunt training a dog. I'm more than happy for him to do this but my issue is he gets so focused on the scent that his recall is awful!! Treats don't work and I have rabbit fur as a play reward but after a couple of goes that's not enough to lure back. Any tips/advice would be a great help. I'm in the at Austell area if anyone knows a good trainer especially with hunting dogs. Many thanks.

Psweeny 0
Thanks everyone. I'll keep working at it and get an extension lead. I'll take a look on the YouTube channel as well.
