darrren 414 Posted March 7, 2019 Report Share Posted March 7, 2019 Hiya all. Looking at getting another pup to work alongside my lakeland and my lakey x Patterdale. They bush well, I'm just after something to compliment them. A guy I know who recently moved always did well using a beagle and he had put many fox to ground and they seemed to alway be putting them up from the cover around here. I'm looking at something to make a little pack that all hunt together. If there's any pups about or anyone could recommend what sort of dog to look at if appreciate it. Frosty79 75 Posted March 8, 2019 Report Share Posted March 8, 2019 Get a runner mate the terriers will put game out and at least you'll have a chance to catch it and its more fun, I have lurchers and just got a plummer pup hopefully will get a lot more in front of runners next season Quote Link to post

I like the look of people's packs on here, dogs with good noses that can get onto the scent and cover lots of ground. Quote Link to post
