MR TEA POT 1,287 Posted October 7, 2018 Report Share Posted October 7, 2018 Went up woodgas on Friday night,took a lad up who wanted to show his lurcher a few rabbits,we went lamping on the night perfectly still night and no wind,not ideal conditions,we managed to pick up a few rabbits despite the conditions,the lads lurcher had a couple so he was chuffed On the Saturday we decided to have a day of walking the fields with the dogs,ferrets and shotgun,nothing serious just a bit of fun,all dogs worked hard and soon we was getting few rabbits,we ferreted a few little setts adding a few more rabbits to the bag,finished at 1 o clock with 15 rabbits in the bag. Me and the lad came home after,but woodga went out lamping again and picked up 26 rabbits,he never in the house always out 4 Quote Link to post

Phil Lloyd 10,739 Posted October 7, 2018 Report Share Posted October 7, 2018 Personally, I rate hunting up the sedges and rough areas where rabbits/hares sit out to be the best craic. I traveled up to Northumbria with Angel and Swifty when they were just 9 months.. We captured several hares and rabbits,...it was one of the best places I've ever walked over... 2 Quote Link to post
