I've had both, still got the hw100 at the moment, not much to choose between them, both accurate and will do what you want, both hold good money, even 2nd hand they can always be sorted if a problem,  usually a good service and seals will cure any of the usual issues.

if it's been stored full of air, it should be ok, just beware seals do deteriorate over time so don't be put of by leaks.
