Nail is fine now Jules, but Nell the tank ran into the back of him and has hurt his tail  He screamed the place down and keeps it very low, nothing to see or feel? Ive never had much luck injury wise with him

I take mine these days if a lurcher's not available when we lamp with the gun, for finding wounded stuff. He stays in the van though until needed. Otherwise like Simo said, watch out for them disappearing down after pigs or even foxes, which won't be fun in the dark!

I wouldnt dream of letting any of my terriers off they would be gone like a shot never to be seen again :D Anyway your only making everything used to the lamp if your lamping with a terrier, Terriers are for digging, Lurchers are for lamping. You would try to go digging with a lurcher would you :) JMO. ;)

Your a brave man, better take a shovel and locator :whistling:
took your advice collerd up the 2 most likley to go to ground - would`nt be the first time we`ve dug at night :whistling: digging gears always on the bus anyway first call was the bottom of the wood that borders the golf course just when it looked like we whr gonna draw a blank the 4 dogs that whr loose put one up right in front of us - on with the lamp and away :boogie: what wi laughing and the other 2 dogs trying to get off i could barley hang onto em . the sight of my mate with the lamp chasing 4 white lakies round a golf course will live with me for a long time. the rabbit turned and hit the bushs like a rocket with the dogs following , after 10mins and some coaxing they came out we loosed all 6 dogs and they put up a couple more with the same result :wallbash: then we found what we`d bin lookin for :boogie::boogie::boogie: a sitter :clapper: this rabbit did not move and was soon ambushed :gunsmilie: they had it :toast: they lost it  all in all good laugh great fun the dogs loved and it got 3 bord grown men out the house and gigglin like young kids :clapper: i reckon given time we`d be up to 3 a night :whistling: moll do yours yap when thr onto em? will i go again oh fecking hell yes  my mates set the challange now gotta get 1 rabbitt by the end of jan in the lamp .
