masmiffy 82
Locator great. Collars are shite! Change to leather and its a great combo. Quote Link to post
Hob&Jill 258
MK3 is a very good locator, can be out by a foot or so on depth depending on soil but always bang on top of the ferret. I think the collars are fine, they just need to be done up tight, which isnt a problem as they have thick straps... Quote Link to post
Guest bigredbusa
change the collars !!! doesnt mater how tight you have it on a small un it will come off , apart from that they find to the inch Quote Link to post
Jack NUFC 1
i think there great yet to have a fault with mine, i never had a problem with the collar but rigged to a harness to be on the safe side, mobile phones can alter the reception so turn it off or leave it at home. hope this helps F.K Quote Link to post
stubby 175
like everything in life, there's for and against the mk3 collars, use mine on the smallest setting and work fine Quote Link to post

knocker 0
thats odd........my mobile has absolutley no effect on my mk 3 Quote Link to post
richie 1
thats odd........my mobile has absolutley no effect on my mk 3 try calling out a number on your mobile or your voice mail box so the phone signal can start ommitting & place the mk3 receiver next to the phone, it should start interfering.. when i was out a while back my mk3 was going mad & i couldnt get a pin point on the ferts.... my phone rang in my pocket & it went more erratic... after that i put it far away & it was fine after that... richie Quote Link to post
