Underdog 2,337
Braved the heat and hugged the shadows. I just wanted to shoot the WMR and check zero. I bumped into some crows and took a nice off hand shot at about 70yards. I tested some S&B ammo at 100 yards and they are powerful rounds. Sporting a 40grn bullet with an exposed lead hollow point I expect them to be good fox medicine. I only have the one box though! On a side note in the heat the barrel got very hot but zero did not shift which really pleased me demonstrating a stable barrel and action. U. 4 Quote Link to post

Rimfireboy! 1,463
Interesting about the S&B .22 magnums being powerful Nathan. S&B .22 hornet seem slower than any others I’ve used. A good inch lower poi at 100 yards. Haven’t put them over the chrono though. Maybe I should, could be interesting? Quote Link to post

Hmmm, factory hornet tends to be mild for the sake of ancient weak actions of long ago. In saying that I remember S&B being quite good! They were 45grn so.... Quote Link to post
