Blackbriar 8,569
My friend Rappa Blue, who, you might remember, previously mused on the school nativity play, has had a few thoughts on the festive period. Shared, as usual, with his permission....... Rappa Scrooge Has Had Enough ! Too much turkey, too much pud, I really don’t feel too good, All I’ve done all day is scoff, That last pint must’ve been off, Oh Lord, my head is throbbin’, Shoot that noisy f***in’ robin, What will ruin this festive cheer, Arrival of relatives I’ve not seen all year, Under the mistletoe for a kiss, NO! I’ll give Auntie Ethel a miss, I’ll know she’ll give me grief, But I don’t do sucking on false teeth, Unwanted jumpers, unwanted socks, I need them like a dose of pox, Is that the peeling of Church bell? I wish the world would go to Hell, What next? Welcome the New Year, Another chance to overdose on beer, You know what, Mate? Next year I’ll emigrate.
