What difference does it make and has anyone had any trouble with the Hungarian models or should i stick to the german ones? Has anyone used www.opticswarehouse.co.uk? Grateful for any help I have had 3 scopes from Optics Warehouse, one from the Game Fair about 3 or 4 years ago and 2 mail order. Always good to their word and no problems. Not got a S&B so not in a position to comment directly, but 30mm should make things brighter in principle, and I have "heard" German are meant to better! Deker Quote Link to post
Guest baldie
The 30 mm will drag more light in, but there is no difference whatsoever between the hungarian and german sight, they are built from identical parts, but hungarian labour is far cheaper, so save yourself some money. Guest JohnGalway
I'd go with what the Baldie man said Often heard from fellas who bought that the German and Hungarian models are no different (apart from price), and I'd always go for a 30mm tube myself.
