ollieollie 766
Fox I was guessing closer to 10k lol The support is about 14" wide so yes probs two together. The width of the room is 8m so I've been told that is impossible to get here so I have to do it on two sections. You might go to £2000 now, difficult to cost over the web and with the country difference Edited August 11, 2017 by ollieollie

You might go to £2000 now, difficult to cost over the web and with the country difference Do you think I want these monkeys doing it? The job will go to someone from the UK. Haven't chosen anyone yet. So if anybody is interested in the job, knows what they are doing, with references for similar work, pm me and we can talk. This is not going to be done on the cheapest price, as opposed to the best gang who'll do the job right
Squirrel_Basher 17,102
10 acroprops needed ,10 needles ,4 scaff planks,. Pillar 240 notes materials ,labour 200 .Rsj 180 a piece .400 notes to fix in position, make good. Allows for you to take down blockwork .Either side bearing would beed a surveyors report and addition cost therein .
Casso 1,264
If its non load bearing , shutter it up add your bar and pack into what's on top ,

mushroom 14,216
There's going to be a mezzanine mate. Hard to explain but imagine a long wide unit with a cube of space at the end. You can see the second level built in the (metal framework). We are going to take it back to create more light and have it all open plan. Edited August 11, 2017 by mushroom

Find out why the previous wall failed , ya can't build f**k all on sand The horizontal concrete support has failed because the fuucking Spanish in the 70's were cheap, lazy b*****ds who couldn't do a proper job on a colour by numbers picture ? Squirrel_Basher 17,102
I'm confused why you need rsj at all if your just adding another floor level .Any plans mate
mushroom 14,216
The horizontal support one job, the mezzanine another completely separate mate
Squirrel_Basher 17,102
Here rsj is only needed to support clear span ,an opening . If the windows are staying put then concrete lintels are the answer ,cheap as chips here, 20 notes each tops
mushroom 14,216
It is a clear span. It spans just under 8 meters. The uprights are perfect, it's just the horizontal has failed.
mushroom 14,216
This might give you a better idea. The horizontal concrete beam just in front of the blue metal work.
