I was phoning around this morning , trying to get chicken carcasses one offered the usual trimmings , necks , wings , gizzards , livers and hearts. Then he says we also have boxes of chicken skin , i thought what the feck but theres fat etc under the skin would it be worth getting a box and giving them a handful each feed ?.

Won't do them any harm mate as you say that's where the fat in chicken is .......

I give mine lots of chicken skin good source of fat that's easily digested.

I would keep some by for making chicken skin crackling (food of the gods), as well as feeding it to dog.

Unless it's really really cheap reared chicken, fed on god knows what, as fat stores toxins.

Likely good is it's ok quality meat feed it. Be a waste of good food
