I don't insure any of mine instead I put money away each month into a seperate pot to cover any vet costs, you will find v few inurance companies cover "working" dogs for injuries etc out in the field and if they do then they are v v expensive.

Have tried several companies but the one I have been using for the past 3 years is KHS. They are based in Newbury and are primarily horse insurance specialists. I have 3 dogs of various breeds and pay pennies over £100 per year each. Have had several claims with my lurcher (over 3600 quids worth) over the last 2 years and the premium has only gone up about a fiver.

I first found them on the net and they are very easy to deal with and quick to pay put. Hope this helps, Cheers. D.
