What are you doing to attract new members Lee ??? have you had a local show ?? we used to go to film nights run by the clubs and then get earholed into membership, they were really busy nights in so

I've got a pop up gazebo at the yard if you want to borrow it Lee - market stall size with sides   I don't really need it until the winter anyway   I've also got feather flag stands too

That's the way bosun. We have to work together to keep these clubs going

In a word mate no lol maybe 2 new ones this week

What are you doing to attract new members Lee ??? have you had a local show ?? we used to go to film nights run by the clubs and then get earholed into membership, they were really busy nights in some big halls and pubs as the word spread around Merseyside, the guy that used to come with the films would have films that were of actual hunts, in fact anything countryside based, he was from the Lake district, I doubt he's even alive now but you get the idea, I'm sure somebody on here will know of him or somebody else doing a similar thing, you can have a raffle on the night for whiskey or donated stuff dog related, when I ran a few events we found firms/business's were always quick to donate prizes, try getting a "named" terrier man like "Nuttall" etc to come and give a question and answer evening they always do well, I applaud your drive in this matter and hope it works out for you, WM

The F&M would always be welcome to set up in our tent, at our show, for a spot of PR, it's not the biggest tent but we can all get cozy.

 

IMO that's what they should be doing at various shows around the country anyway.... :yes:
