.22 Jsb's From Bigmac

So postie came this morning with a sample of jsb exact jumbos from Jimmy....Sorry, did I say a sample, I meant to say a full tin of 500! A very kind gesture from a very kind fella.

After some mucking about with them this afternoon I was more than pleased with the performance in hatty so tonight I stuck a target down the garden and lit it up with a torch next to it as it's pitch black down there and had 5 shots from the kitchen window resting forehand on a coffee pot! Not the best artillery hold for a pellet test but then not all our shots in the field are from rifle rests so it kind of simulates a hunting shot.

The stray shot wasn't a bad pellet, it was me resting the for end in a different position thus effcting the recoil...DOH!

I also picked up a cheap smk 3-9×40 ir mildot as I was struggling with holdover with the EB 30 30 it came with and it seems to be doing the job.

A bit of a rush review but it's nice to be doing a bit and thanks again to Jimmy for his generosity.

seems like thet Hatty is going to be a top rifle in your hands

 

jut go,s to show you dont have to spend fortunes on a rifle or scopes

I'm really pleased with the rifle and to be fair, it hasn't struggled to do anything I asked the tx to do yet. Having said that, I took a few 50 plus yarder bunnies with the tx. Much more practice with hatty before anything like that.
