Welsh_red 4,859
Seems every field I go by has tonnes of molehills everywhere recently . Is there any reason for this? Just interested Quote Link to post

Dirksdonuts 79
Coming up to matting season. Your about 2 months away yet..... the winter frosts break down the soil and this fills the existing runs so they need a good clean out. Also if its dry the worms go deeper so the moles either have to dig a little deeper or extend their feeding runs. 4 Quote Link to post

Devon Minnow 152
I did say coming up. I can count in number of frost up here in the Northeast on one hand. We don't get the winter we use to, spring is getting early and I have heard from other mole catcher that they are coming across young moles early and early year on year Quote Link to post
earth-thrower 494
Seems every field I go by has tonnes of molehills everywhere recently . Is there any reason for this? Just interested Aye, they have too work harder, generally, in the winter, for their grub,.....this often means, more molehills ! Quote Link to post
