first one looks like its at the top of the bwlch, limited parking there and very exposed to the weather, second is at the top of tal-y-llyn pass, of the 2 i`d go to the latter and afterwards head up the road to the cross foxes to scoff and defrost (live in dolgellau, about 3 miles from both points)

mountain near tal-y-llyn is cader idris, might be taken from that , the flight path is known as the mach loop
