Dr. A 36 Posted September 25, 2016 Report Share Posted September 25, 2016 Greetings all! Sitting around here hunting in my native state of Kansas, I was thinking about my upcoming trip to Pitlochery. I happened across this site and have been reading what I can about UK stalking. On the 10th of next month, I am going to attempt to stalk a smaller red stag. I am very excited, as I mainly hunt whitetail, bear, and elk, and of course hogs along with our smaller species. I have family in Wales, and have visited them as late as last year, but have never experienced Scotland. You have a great site and have already learned quite a bit. We hunt with rifles, but primarily hunt with bows. Looking forward also to go for Roe deer some day as I have not been able to make contact with my guide-stalker, so am not sure about caliber and distances, but feel I am pronbably practiced up enough over my 53 years.
