I need my kennel run floor replacing as its been flaking a bit in one place ,the run is outside with no cover so open to elements .

Would it be best to slab over the top or best to dig up and relay with a good ready mix and then some type of sealer ?

Not to bothered about cost just want a good base that will last as old one only been down 4 years .

Thanks in advance .

what tiles would you use ? and why tiles over slabs ?

Not sure what the correct name for them is, but the use them on patio's and outdoor swimming pools. They are rough, sandpaper like, dont need sealing and will not degrade either. Mate of mine put some down on his patio and they strike me as being perfect for a dog run.
