As far as I know there are two the fixed lens and the zoom lens ( XR ) mines the latter.

in your honest opinion, are they any good? The fact you've played with it once and are now selling it suggests not? I am tempted but I've bought plenty of shite before lol I was thinking of spotting rabbits for the dog before hitting them with the lamp in lamp shy areas?

Honest opinion:

Works surprisingly well certainly good for 150yds.

In the middle of a field they are great otherwise they pick up all heat sources( bug I'm sure they all will)

For spotting rabbits it would work well as long as the grass or crop is short, as soon as it's higher than the prey you won't spot them. I tried to see my dog through a small gorse bush and could only see his exposed tail at about 10yds.

From a high seat spotting a fox is no problem or if it's close to dawn you could spot deer with it.

My I phone is in a case and it's too much faffing about to get it out and pop the imager on.

 

Would I get another one ???? Probably not but then again I wouldn't get one at £2000 + either.
