Blackdog92 2,047
I was having a ratch around one of my perms yesterday with the dogs after work, to show face more than anything the cover over where all the warrens are is still incredibly thick. There is a fair few about but they werent far from safety so they all made a quick escape. Untill i was coming along the bottom side of a plowed feild that the farmer was at the time rolling to get ready to drill latter that evening. Suddenlly the big dog took off like a rocket across the plow in pursuit of coney, it was a long start but it didnt take him long to catch up to it, it made it to the banking and nearlly got to safety until he put a turn in and sent it back towards the plow and a quick strike and that was it. I had the young whippet with me at 5 months old this would be his first encounter with a real rabbit, so he had a bit of a play with it then procceded to carry it back to the van, proud as punch he was. You would think he caught it himself the way he acted Having a victory lap with his prize. Now he just needs to learn to bring it back. Thanks for looking. 6 Quote Link to post
