Recommended Posts

When I was on the hill there was a wee hill loch called Loch Tilt at the top of Glen Tilt ...It was full of little brownies and if you with stand the midges you got plenty ....I had a fish about 2 lb that was huge for there ...I kept it and when I gutted it there was small bird bones innit ...there was a loads of young black headed gulls on the south side of the loch that had a reed bed ..it must of been feeding on them

Nothing to do with fishing but on the subject of an animals stomach contents...I had a big dog fox in a snare about a month ago around a free range chicken farm ....the chickens lay eggs outside and I often find nests full of eggs ....the carcass was put in a midden and about a week later it had rotted away and there was a single in tact egg just behind the rib cage so this fox must of swallowed the egg whole
