did my my first batch of plum liquer last night used 10 lbs of plums.ready in 2 to 3 mts. used seperate spirits in each kinlar jars.poitin. powers. jameson.vodka and gin with a bit of brandy but into each of the 5 jars with sugar.ready in 2 to 3 mts.

their are plum trees at the moment that are busting with fruit and trees beside them a good bit off been ripe.just picked up another grain bag full of the ground wil feed them to my californian rabbits.their must be at least 15lbs of fallen fruit in the bag.the rabbits are in a 30ft rabbit coloney.they will be ready soon also.

Wel lads, some elderflower cordial plum liqueur and plums I picked up off the ground for the rabbits.The rest of the rabbits are in burrows. They will be out later. They are kind of gone wild. I hope they taste good in a few weeks.

Looks good to me :thumbs: Really like a home made nip. Did you just put in alcohol, sugar and the halved plums?

 

Nice rabbits as well.

yes rat buster i also put in rasberriers and brown sugar to mix it up at bit.their is a total of 18 rabbits also around the coloney.

I've had Plum Poitin before and it's nice and I drank moonshine made by a Romanian this year and you could taste the Plums in it.

One of the nicest Moonshines I've ever drank actually.

it was my first time drinking it last yr neil. was out for a nights lamping with a friend came back boiled the kettle and had a few hot plum potins with cloves and brown sugar.we were talking dogs till near on 6am.good night all the same.
