So easy to make use a car starter motor one with out a solenoid like old mg or old land rover a mig welding wire spool a car battery and for the switch a car battery cut off switch I made one a few years back went like shit off a shovel I gave it away on here with 4 corner rollers if you pegged it down well it could easily pull a fox carcass for a friend's eagle

Ive made them before. We had the black wire spools,like leethedog says. My dad got a bloke to turn a piece of alluminium which fitted the wheel and made the hub for the starter motor shaft. Thats all I can remember about it. If I wanted one now I would have the Bull-x one with remote control and the turning gear.

I made the corners rollers from motorx bike chain tensioner wheels a hard polly they are made of turned some ally rod and turned a wide groove in the wheels worked a treat and fitted them on the ally rod the wheels have a bearing so spin fast don't get any friction from the line running around them edited to add if there is a bike shop near you ask them for the old ones they take off the will already have a good groove in them
