Trap Identification

Recommended Posts

Bought this trap a couple of years ago and have know idea what it was actually made to catch. An antiques dealer told me it was for possums but I have yet to see a possum that would warrant such a trap. The spikes are something I have never seen before and a couple of dog trappers I know have never seen 1. In size it is between a rabbit trap and a dog trap. Any information greatly appreciated.
