dayglowfrog 56
Just had some fun in my in-laws garden with two shooters who have been airgun shooters for years but spend most of the time shooting shotguns and rim fires these days. All guns .177 except the .22. Range max measured 30 yards The 97 is not sorted and has major scope creep. So no score there new scope needed for evaluation. is short stroked tbt kit 77 spring and had three hours polishing by me to be fair . Would hit every thing it was pointed at no question but after 10 shots made your arms hurt . TX200hc standard tune as far as I know, just as accurate but proved more hold sensitive with tired arms. Clear winner 99 tbt kit and polished by me also moderator fitted for extra barrel weight. Just hit everything and could still be hitting everything long after you had got tired shooting the heavy weights . Both my father in law and brother in law preferred the 99 and I did too after an hour . Not very scientific and probably no surprise to 99 owners . Not sure why the .177 gets looked over in favour of the .22 it's more accurate for people who aren't as good at loopy .22 and having fired a few tuned .22 at the boinger bash I can say yes o yes a faster more snappy shot cycle but so what! 1 Quote Link to post
