Coolnakilla Harriers Club are pleased to announce, the club will be holding their annual Dog Show and Race Day this year on Sunday the 10th July 16, at Rathcormac Co Cork. Full details later.

Well folk's, The Westmeath Working Terrier and lurcher show will be on Sunday July 17th in Moate Co.Westmeath all the usual classes will be held on the day + flapper racing and a digging competition..The judges on the day are Terriers Mr. Darren Cashmore and Lurchers Mr. Jed Donagh.

We will also be holding our raffle again this year with some great prizes.. There will also be a few trade stands there on the day.. Hope to see you all there on the day..

All the proceeds from the day will be donated to the Irish Working Terrier Federation from myself and Kevin to help the lad's fund the day to day running of the Federation......

Galtee Foxhounds Dog Show in Kilbehenny near Mitchelstown Co. Cork

On the 17th July The Galtee Foxhounds are holding there second annual dog show this year in Kilbehenny, Mitchelstown, Co Cork. There will be over fifty classes between Terriers, Hounds, Pets and Lurchers.

Sunday 24th July

Man-O-War Lurcher,Terrier,Whippet and Greyhound Show will take place this year on the 24th July at Feagh Bridge Schooling Track ,Coalisland. Full list of classes and details will be posted soon.

Tully Castle Dog Show will take place this year on Saturday 13th August 16. Tully Castle is a castle situated near Enniskillen County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland, and sits on the southern shore of Lower Lough Erne.

Sunday 21st August, at Burndennett Cricket Club ,Strabane. The 32 Counties Champion of Champions Showing only will take place at this show.

Anyone who received a perpetual trophy at the North West Terrier and Lurcher show at Donemana , Strabane, last year, please return them to Barry Holland,

as they will be put up at this show.

West Wexford Harriers Annual Hound Show

 

Our Annual Hound Show will be held on the 10th of July 2016 in Cassagh, New Ross, Co. Wexford.

Classes for All.

Great Day out for all the Family.

BBQ, Bouncy Castle, Face Painting, Monster Raffle, Pet Show, Flapper Racing, Digging Competition and plenty more attractions.

 

Flapper Racing starts at 10.30am and will run racing before and after the showing classes.

Digging Competition at 12pm.

Hound, Lurcher, Terrier and Whippet classes begin at 1pm.

Gun Dog classes begin at 2pm followed by the Pet Classes at approx. 3pm in the same ring.

We are also running Ferret Classes.

 

Winner of each class receives a rosette and a bag of nuts.

Winner of the Champion Lurcher receives a Perpetual Cup sponsored by Oliver Roche

Winner of the Champion Terrier receives The Anthony Dunphy Perpetual Memorial cup sponsored by Petmaster

Winner of the Champion Hound receives a Perpetual Cup sponsored be Tommy and Ber O'Brien.

 

We are holding a Monster Raffle on the field that day with great prizes.

 

Overall Champion wins 5 bags of nuts.

Directions take the N25 out of New Ross heading for Rosslare/Wexford take the a right turn beside the Centra filling Station opposite the Horse and Hound, Ballinaboola. Continue along the road for approx. 3km. The show will be situated in the soccer pitch on the right beside J&A Morrissey Pub. The show will be signposted on the day.
