Blackbriar 8,569
We drew up our own, something along these lines........ XXXXX (and XXXX,if you go with a mate) have permission to access land owned or controlled by me, Name............. Address............ Land description or designation.................. For the purpose of pest/vermin control. Access will be by mutual agreement, no less than 48 hours in advance and he (they) may be accompanied by no more than one other person. Permitted quarry......... Permitted method(s)............(we have tick boxes here instead) Valid from...........until further notice. Signed.......... Date........... I/we agree to abide by all conditions stipulated by the landowner/agent, to respect all property livestock and borders and to operate within all relevant legislation. Signed..........(another line if there two of you) Date.......... (THIS IS A LETTER OF PERMISSION, NOT A LEGAL AGREEMENT)

Blackbriar 8,569
I should point out that there are usually two of us working together, and it's worked well so far ! We only contact all our permissions by text message, so as not to disturb their working day, and that clause allows time for the message to be seen, replied to and arrangements made. So, 48 hours is simply a courtesy that serves us both - no 'last minute misunderstandings'. The bit about another accompanying person is included only in case one of us can't go or doesn't want to do.....someone else can take their place - simple as that, really. Also allows a bit of flexibility. Edited March 29, 2016 by Blackbriar
