Somewhereyournot 1,117
Few weeks rest due to shoulder injury, and a run down the beach couple times, decided that he was fine to have a few runs. Missed the first two, then caught the next two. Missed couple of others. But ended up with four. Rabbits were flying , and the dog looked slow the fields were that boggy! Happy his shoulder is fine, and no lameness or soreness today...onwards and upwards. Can't upload pic , photo bucket playing uo 1 Quote Link to post

bird 10,015
dog did well, and glad the shoulder is ok. My dog hurt his shoulder when he was 12 months old, I rested him for 8 weeks then bit of bike work, and it seems ok now . he 3 year old now and catches well no prob with it,he always bit stiff in his shoulder next day.But a lot of lurcher carry some kind of injures , more so if they see fair amount of work , after all there working dogs not pets. 1 Quote Link to post

Somewhereyournot 1,117
Haha he certainly is committed I had three the other night with him, second run the rabbit flat out towards hedge dog ten yards behind rabbit turn straight up hedged fencing and dog couldn't turn as quick , fence shaking and few cracks of the hedge and he pulled himself together and carried on chasing just missing the rabbit. Supprised he's not dead, Quote Link to post
