matt1979 766
Always found it easier to settle pups indoors I Don't kennel my dogs anymore never seen the point in building kennels if their is a utility room in the house that is suitable. Think their are a lot if benefits to keeping them indoors personally if you have suitable space, main one being the risk if thieves outdoors. Morton what are bad house habits? dillydog 8,517
The older I get the more my dogs live in, they all have the run of the yard throughout the day then they get put under lock and key at night. There's two old farts that live in permanently and the rest just guilt trip me into giving them a few hours by the fire. In all honesty I can't see me keeping in the terriers much longer, I'm getting to soft and although I've spent all my adult life digging I'm slowly but surely getting sick of the hassle. Give your pups the best you can, keep them in for as long as you can, it won't make them soft, it will socialise them and give you a better bond. 5 Quote Link to post

The old dog I have and the stuff he throws don t do well stuck in a kennel from a pup and I agree I think they learn so much more inside and being out with you. I was in this frame of mind a few years back about the dogs after getting shit on with dogs I d put out and people going back on places they d been taken. After a long think I realised it was nt the dogs and digging that I was tiring of , it was the politics lies and back stabbing that went with it. I pulled myself away from different crowds and enjoy it like I did years ago again. All the best. 2 Quote Link to post
