They do look real quality Rio,

I'm much the same as Katchum I lose at least 1 opinel a season lol...

ok i can see i can happen to loose stuff wether it fell out of your pocket or more likely put it down and just walked away and forgot it , , but to be honest i think its just a case of bieng more carefull ,if you were out stalking deer for example would you leave a rifle on the hill and say to the police ,, oops ive lost it !! same with all tools look after it and it will serve well

im not saying this will prevent anyone from loosing a knife but these days i put a lanyard on the handles .some folk may put a red one on or a coulored bead so if you put it down you can see it ,something like the one below that went to the usa I collected my new fixed blade knife from Raymond Young this morning and I'm very pleased to say the least. Excellent finish including the sheath which I know for some knife makers can be there weak point the hand stitching is excellent. The knife will return with me to the U.S. On Sunday and I hope will put to good use when I hunt Black bear at the end of October. Jason Hurt's photo.
